Atula Technologies' Digital Solution for BoB Networking

Atula Technologies has been working with BoB Networking to develop a digital solution. BoB Networking, launched in June 2024, connects local business owners across the UK through fortnightly meetings, creating connections among like-minded professionals.

To support its launch, BoB Networking tasked Atula Technologies with creating an online presence for the new brand in just 35 days. The company needed a website to enable it to grow. Allowing prospective members to locate nearby groups and sign up for memberships. During this time, Atula Technologies also faced a massive setback with the tragic loss of its founding member just a few weeks before the request came in.

One of the reasons BoB Networking appointed Atula Technologies was its ability to create a completely bespoke solution which was important for a fast-growing networking group with multifaceted requirements. Our co-founder Soumya Dinesh is an avid networker herself and understood the critical needs of the organisation. Soumya deployed the right team with the skills and experience to deliver the project.

Once the first stage of having an online presence was achieved, the team worked closely with the founder of BoB Networking, Tina Duggan, on a phased approach to launch a fully functional website. A value of BoB Networking is inclusivity – so this was front of mind when developing a digital solution. Soumya and the Atula Technologies team used their expertise to ensure every step of the customer journey was accessible.

Given the networking brand’s extensive reach, the digital solution required continuous updates as new meeting locations were added, increasing the complexity. The team worked with Tina to ensure all the requirements were captured, prioritised and implemented accordingly.

Atula Technologies recommended building in .NET8 to allow for ease of updates to the backend and front end. This will allow BoB Networking to scale and introduce new features as it grows. Phase two, which includes a member portal, is in the pipeline. The site was designed to seamlessly integrate this future functionality.

Delivering the project involved two teams within Atula Technologies – website design and development and the core development team. Time was of the essence, as the launch date was non-negotiable. The team worked diligently to ensure it went live as promised, delivering a smooth, timely launch. The project is testimony to the work ethic and camaraderie that Atula Technologies has built over the years. 

With the site and the portal constantly evolving as BoB Networking expands into new regions, it has helped Tina maintain continuity and maintain the pillars of networking – know, like and trust.
